I really don't, I read stuff online and do work/emails most of the time. Even thought about removing cable in my apartment here because I rarely watch...
I do enjoy movies though and once you watch a movie in a movie room with a nice setup, it kinda makes the theatre and $10 popcorn obsolete. I also like some of the series the Discovery channel does - and they get my kids and I talking about cool stuff and exploring these items online then via museums if they exist. Then of course, the Sopranos. God I love that show.
TV can be engaging and is not as evil as some make it out to be. We do ban our kids from watching shows like 'Fairly Odd Parents' and even 'Sponge Bob'....these shows are just bad for kids....

I actually like the shows as well. I just don't like how they suck my kids in when they watch them....so we banned them.

I hear ya, got to limit the TV. I actually have to limit computer use for my 2 older ones, 5 and 7.

We had to pull access to the SNES. The Legend of Zelda was too much for them.

Nice house over 3800 sft in $700K- $1million range
Hi Jelyser:
I just went out last weekend to preview some houses in this price range.
I found some beautiful ones in Coppell, with everything you've described plus all the amenities of Coppell (ie lots of community-planned events, great Rec Ctr, and much more).

I would not spend that kind of money in the 'burbs. I would recommend Preston Hollow, North Dallas areas such as Northwood Hills Estates, of course the Park Cities and Lakewood.

house
Many areas in North Dallas have homes like that including Bluffview, Park cities, and Preston Hollow. Also there is Lakewood. There of course is areas like Plano and Frisco though they are far away. You could also look at Rockwall though it is far away. You definetley will want to look at Southlake also, it is a area with some great yards.
hope that helped a little
