Default the colony?
looking to buy in the colony area,how is the weather,people and crime there.relocating from california

Parts of the Colony are not so good and parts of th Colony are nice. I'm not sure that would be the first place I look at when coming from California. You might want to look at Little Elm, Aubrey, and Frisco, as well.

I know that the W streets in the Colony use to be a little tuff.
There are newer areas though and this may of changed.
