Our family is looking for organic foods and organic gardening in Dallas and Ft Worth areas including stores, supermarkets, farms and groups. We would like to also find raw milk, cheese, butter, yogurt (but I can make everything out of raw milk). Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Call the Green Spot and see if they have a source. They sell pastured eggs, so they may be able to help.
I assume you already looked here: Where Can I Find Real (Raw) Milk?

There are organic produce co-ops around the city. You might need to do a search for one in your area.

Sprouts, Whole Foods, and Central Market will have plenty. Regular grocery stores have a good selection of organic produce as well.

The Dallas Farmers Market can be good, but a lot of what is there isn't any better than the grocery store.

Check out these websites for other options, like co-ops

eatwild.com

ams.usda.gov/farmersmarkets

nal.usda.gov/afsic/csa (co-ops)

realmilk.com

I'm brand new at Whole Foods. Not all their fruits & vegetables are organic right?

I noticed that some, not all, of their produce is labeled "organic" (e.g. they will have a small stock of strawberries and label it "organic strawberries $X.XX" and then next to it they will have another stock of strawberries and label it "strawberries $X.XX" where the organic ones will cost more.

If I want to buy organic fruits & vegetables, doesn't that mean I can/need to choose only the ones that are labeled organic? If that's the case, their non-organic labeled foods are so expensive so why would anyone want to pay more than going to a regular grocery store?

Check out Urban Acres in Oak Cliff.

Urban Acres

They do fruit/veggie co-ops and all they sell is locally grown and I'm pretty sure damn near 100% organic. They also get all of their eggs, milk and cheese locally as well as other things they sell at their store.

You can do a co-op and pick it up and one of their "stands" to which is convenient for you, but the only have one store right now.

Are there any stores in Dallas where they sell PURELY organic foods? I really want to shop at a store that sells only organic foods so I have a good selection of foods to choose from.

I don't see the point of /different in going to Whole Foods if I have to sort through organic vs. non-organic foods. Also, Whole Foods' non-organic foods (e.g. vegetables cost more than buying the same non-organic food at Target, for example.

The Urban Acres market in Oak Cliff does.

Sprouts and Newflower Market (Dallas) carry organic and non-organic like Whole Foods, but are much cheaper.
