I forgot to add that Time Warner is the reason my 50/20 service costs so much.

You see, while Comcast rolls out DOCSIS 3.0 service which gives cable modem HSI speeds that rival FIOS and capacity for tons more HD channels, Time Warner isn't doing it.

In areas that have FIOS and Comcast w/ DOCSIS 3.0, 50/50 costs under $100 a month. I have to pay $140/mo simply because FIOS has no competition for HSI.

Time Warner is worth staying away from until/if Comcast takes over AND deploys DOCSIS 3.0.

Pappy and others thanks so much for the helpful information.

Can you tell me what the fastest service Time Warner has available in that area? And how much is it per month?

Also, how much is a good Digital cable package with Time Warner? I really appreciate the information.

75093 -- I got Verizon FiOS. It's a fiber-optic network. I signed up for their package deal of bundling phone, TV and internet. Cost is not that bad -- $168 per month. Under my package, they promised me 20/5. But I tested sometimes, typically, it's 16.5/4.5.

Thanks Bud. Hey, I'll settle for those blazing speeds you guys are getting. The fastest service I have where I live is only 3 MB! And typically that doesn't even work so it will be nice to have lightning fast downloads.

If anyone knows for sure what all options are available in 75024 please post.
