Ironically, I'm not from DFW, but from looking on this website, I've fallen in love with how the area has grown and with how much things have come to this very nice area to better it. If you have any news on new developments (subdividisions, shopping centers, etc.) please post them here. Thanks!

Not going to happen. They are now suing each other over land ownership of the failed development.

I couldn't give you any more points, but will the Trinity River project actually happen? The bridges?

According to this article, maybe in about 25 years and way over budget. But I'll be surprised if it's done in the next 50 years. Here's a recent article from the Dallas Morning News discussing all the issues: Trinity toll road faces levee work delays, 'cloudy' funding outlook | News for Dallas, Texas | Dallas Morning News | Dallas-Fort Worth Transportation News | Dallas-Fort Worth News (http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/localnews/transportation/stories/DN-trinitytoll_07met.ART.State.Edition2.4c77d3f.html - broken link)

The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge IS slowly being constructed, and a few of the smaller projects within the flood plain are moving forward. Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge Construction

It will remain parking lots for the sports facilities until someone decides to do something else with it.
