I have been trying to find a good place to service my car near Murphy. Driving 30-40 minutes (one-way) to dealership and the 1-2 hour wait is quite time consuming. Not mention, I swear the dealership always charges quite a lot more for simple things.

There is a Christian Brothers in Garland on Naaman School Rd right off of Hwy 78. They are usually highly recommended. They have a few other locations around.

I'm gonna second the Christian Bros. It's right across the RR tracksfrom the Hobby Lobby/Wendy's. Christian Bros is looking to open a location in Murphy at Brand and 544. They are working on P&Z/Council approval right now. And obviously it'll take some time to get up and running, but down the road...
