"Oh, and speaking from experience, when you meet your realtor, don't necessarily concentrate on specific houses, but areas and neighborhoods of where you want to live. Because there is so much on the market (I researched our move for over a year), and we decided that dollar for dollar, we are building our dream home."

I started this quest about a year ago, too. Nothing came of it as we had loose ends to tie up. That's done.

I thought some of the houses seemed way overpriced, too. I wish we could build our own, but we're determined to live in a specific area where there is no land available to build on. If we don't find what we want right away, assuming we move there, we'll rent for a bit. A short term lease so if we find what we want we can jump on it!

Yes, and "White Rock Park" (or whatever it's called) will forever be known to me as WILLIAMSON. It's where we all hung out Friday and Saturday nights! That, and the T-Docks!

My friends around LH get so confused when I say, "Let's take the kids to Williamson". LOL!

Hmm T Docks! Yes I remember the shift. All the Lakewood Momfia loved it because they could go down there and block off the end so no one could get away. Unless they wanted to go for a swim.

Williamson is now Lakewood Park officially (I think) the Lakewood Service League keeps raising money and it keeps getting redone every few years. But you can now go through the trestle to the lake - I mean you could before but it was more of an adventure.
