is there cliff diving spots in dfw lakes?
with all the lakes around the metroplex i could not find a place where i can cliff dive.
it doesnt matter how high the cliffs are as long as its a clean, cool hangout spot where its deep enough to dive.
does anyone know of such a place?
it doesnt matter which lake is it on, as long as its in dfw.

There is a scuba park out in Terrell that is a little over 70' deep. Sorry I can't remember the name.

I don't know of any such place in the DFW area. You might try the Hill Country.

Not in the immediate DFW area. I know there is a lake up near the Red River, possibly in Oklahoma. I can't recall the name of it for the life of me though. Dallas is mostly flat with some gentle rolling hills, but nothing like cliffs/mountains in the area.

That would be Lake Texoma at Eisenhower State Park. The cliffs are very pronounced, about 40 to 60 feet high... but... I don.t know if the water is deep enough at the base of the cliffs. You should visit the lake anyway... it is quite picturesque.
Eisenhower State Park is about 30 miles beyond the end of the McKinney suburban fringe.

Maybe you're thinking of Broken Bow Lake? It's in the southeast corner of Oklahoma at Beavers Bend State Park - not close to D/FW at all, but a nice weekend trip. There's a nice little cliff diving area there - usually with a bunch of observers roped together to watch you test your nerve (or blood alcohol level )

I just remembered the place I was trying to recall. I was having a hard time because its not a lake. Anyways I was thinking Turner Falls in Oklahoma. Never been there myself, but I've heard it's pretty nice.
