Nothing wrong with the occasional burger now and then.

You would not see this sort of hype over a locally owned restaurant or locally produced food.

I think it shows just how many west coast transplants are in the area. I guess the Trader Joes thread will blow up like this as well.
Define "mass produced" and "heavily processes". By fast food hamburger restaurant standards, In n Out is neither.

It's under construction on the east side of Central, next to a tall office building and Chick fil a is nearby.

Does the beef come from grass fed cows that graze and are free range? Most likely it comes from a huge factory farm that slaughters hundreds of cattle a day. Cattle that are often fed corn and animal by product.

I now part of the argument is that they use fresh, not frozen ground beef, well the same can be said for Wendys. Much of what is present as "fresh" ground beef these days is treated with a chemical gas to preserve color.

So unless they grind the meat in store, and the said meat comes cattle that aren't slaughtered on a massive factory farm, then I am not that impressed.

Those buildings must be blocking it from view when I pass Caruth Haven on both Greenville and 75 then. I've seen the Chick Fil A though.

Coworkers say "thank you."

In n Oot does not use factory farm processing. This point has been highlighted many times in this thread. They process their beef patties at their own facility in northwest Dallas

Who cares..This isn't a health thread. All the time you spend worrying about all this crapola above is probably as unhealthy as one of those juicy and delicious little burger sangies from In N Out. At least the burger you get some sustenance from..

I drove all the way from downtown Dallas to the Frisco location, and was planning on being gone for at least a couple of hours. I knew it was going to be crazy when there were police officers directing traffic and cars idling before I could even see the place. After about 10 minutes sitting in my car waiting to enter the drive-thru line, an employee walked by telling us that the wait for the drive-thru window was approximately three hours!

Unfortunately, I didn't have all afternoon to spend waiting in line. I guess I'll try again this weekend.

Should be very interesting with the downpour that is about to start!

I'll wait a month and see if it slows down.
