Hi - After reading all of the great feedback on various areas in DFW, I registered to get opinions on a potential move.

We've been in Little Elm for 4+ years, moved here from LA before kids and when we were able to afford very little. I work in the Galleria area off the Tollway and have gotten very tired of the commute through Frisco.

We have 2 boys, both under 5, and are considering a property in the 75252 zip code. Dallas address, Collin County, Plano ISD and right down the street from All Saints Catholic School where we will likely send the boys (just the way we were raised although I hear the public schools in N Texas can be excellent as well). House is just off Coit, south of the Bush and a few blocks south of the Central Market. This feels like a good area to be in for 7-10 years.

Can anyone offer opinion on the general trends of this area? Are housing prices rising/ falling? Are families like ours moving into this area?

Thanks.

I live in this zip-code and like the area very much. I can't tell anything you about schools since I attend college. All the best with the move.

I grew up in this area in the 80s and 90s when the Bush Turnpike was being built. I remember in the 80s when Frankford road was a two lane country road. Went to Shepton and Plano Senior High, now this area is zone to Plano West. Great area to raise kids, close to Preston Road shopping and restaurants. Renner Frankford library is good. Coit Road has heavy traffic with all of the Plano/Frisco people who use it driving through Richardson/FN Dallas. Public schools are great and probably more diverse then they were when I lived there. I think the schools are Jackson Elem, Frankford Middle, Shepton HS, Plano West.

I know that area. It is very nice. Plano ISD is pretty good if you change your mind about the private school. That area is very central to most every thing.
