Hi

I'm a single mom moving to Flower Mound/Coppell area this June. I travel from time to time. I'm looking for informtion on hiring a live-in nanny to help with my child. Any information you can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks

you can go about this so many ways
craig's list has postings like this from time to time for people looking for reduced rent but I don't know how safe/qualified those choices might be

there are professional agencies that help with that type of job--and frankly I don't know how well they screen applicants either--we have all probably seen "nanny cam" videos where children are ignored or mistreated by their nannies--some of whom at least are supposed to be vetted by a hiring agency...

some of it depends on what you are willing to spend--
are you actually wanting a full time live in person even when you at working in town vs just for the times you go out of town

there is web site called nannylocators.com where people post jobs and jobs-wanted positions

domestically yours is placement service -- found it by Google--that says it is best one in Dallas area--you can find it easily enough...
also one called Mom's Best Friend--that only does nanny placement

if you choose an agency it needs to be licensed and probably BBB member...

Default Live in Nannies

My wife is a registed nanny/babysitter with a organization called Mom's best friend. It's a safe company and a great way to get people who are safe, and reputable.

They use background checks, and allow you to rate the babysitter online, and you can request good ones back again specifically or avoid them specifically.
