Oh Marshalls.......... I think I cut my teeth on Marshalls and Moore's BBQ. Marshalls is right around the corner from my parents at the Carrollton location and it is okay. I don't know if the Rick's over there is the same as the one in Garland but the one in Garland is pretty good and stays PACKED during the week at lunch. They have a car show there a couple of times a month at the one off 190.

If your husband is not liking the BBQ at Spring Creek he may not like any of the others. Take him to Red, Hot & Blue Memphis BBQ. YUMMY!!!! Even this Native Texan BBQ lover loves this place.

yes... I have to agree Red, Hot, and Blue is scrumptious.

There is also a place over by the Arboritum(sp) in Dallas. It is directly across the street from the main entrance if my memory serves me correct. It is in an old filling station. They have wonderful ribs! :-)

momof2dfw... I too probably cut my teeth on Marshalls. I think I lived there as a child. BBQ and strawberry soda. Yummy! My brother played little league on a Marshall's BBQ team as well. I also noticed on one of your other posts that you are a NSHS grad. Me too.

Then the uniforms HAD to come from what was it??? Dan's Sporting Goods??? It was on the other side of the shopping center facing Josey.

Then we were there at the same time. People look at me weird when I say I went there for 5 years. LOL!!! 8th-12th. I was in 8th the year they had their first graduating class. Has it been THAT long?

Yep... Dan's Sporting Goods or was it L &R Sporting Goods? Both were pretty competitive back then. I was a graduate of the 3rd graduating class/class of 81'. Small world.

and yes, unfortunately it has been a long time... I was just figuring it out the other day and for me it has been 26 years. Yikes, where does the time go?

Wow, that's funny.. Although I'm a class of 97 grad from NSHS.. And I had friends who played ball with the Marshall's logo on the back as well. I think the shirt colors were burgundy w/ white letters from Dan's. I also lived at Marshall's sometimes. Couldn't get enough of fried okra!
