I am an occupational therapist & my husband will soon graduate from nursing school.
Are there many hospitals, nursing homes, or rehabilitation centers in McKinney, Texas? We prefer that we don't have to commute that far to work.
Please advise.

Not many. Why are you limiting yourself to McKinney?

Dallas has plenty of healthcare jobs and is a suburban city not to be feared.

There is a new Baylor Hospital under construction right now on Hwy 380 in McKinney as well as the existing Medical Center of McKinney, Methodist Hospital of McKinney, etc. There are also other hospitals and clinics and surgical centers and cancer centers and nursing homes and home health care agencies and many doctors offices and walk-in clinics and emergency clinics all over McKinney and in nearby Allen and Frisco and Richardson (if you're not familiar with the area, all these suburbs run together and are really just one big town). There are many healthcare opportunities at all levels all over the metroplex.....I don't know why anyone would ever say otherwise.

Check out each facility's web page for listings of their available jobs. Here's one example:

The main hospitals are in Dallas, the hospitals in the suburbs are satellites e.g. Baylor Medical Center in Dallas has been ranked one of the top five in the nation.
