We used "Dougs Mighty Clean". They are locally owned and a member of the local BBB.

website: [url=http://dougsmightyclean.com/] Doug's Mighty Clean

I thought they did an excellent job cleaning our 2 bd apartment and cleaning our upholstery.

This was the first time we had this service done, so I can't comment on other providers.

I would stay away from dry cleaning. You just end up with a bunch of chemicals that actually attract dirt. Go with the traditional get the carpet wet and wash it kind of guys. Like Dalworth.

I tried Dalworth and wasn't pleased at all with their services. Next time I'll rent one of those machines and do the job myself, I've done that in the past. It costs a fraction of what they charge, and they don't do a better job.

we used the OxyFresh or OxyClean carpet cleaning
forget now--but like the washer additive
when we moved into new house in Dec--owners moved out in Oct and we had the painters in--wanted to clean carpets before we moved in

did a good job
just one very polite man who came and they dried very quickly--does not use the steam cleaning so carpets don't get wet and they did not feel sticky/heavy like some cleaning leaves them

Do any of them know how to get cat pee out of carpet? I've tried everything and am convinced nothing gets it out.
