Question Kettering thoughts

Hi there - we will be moving to Dayton in a couple of months. We are currently looking at Beavercreek, Centerville/Wash Twn and Tipp City as possible areas to live in.

However, I have seen some houses in the Kettering area that seem reasonably priced. Also, I have read some positive things about that area on this website. Can someone please give me more info on Kettering. For instance, crime, school system, average housing costs, taxes, etc.

Thanks!!!!

I blogged on Kettering back in August:

Daytonology: Changing Kettering

...at the end of the blog there is a link to a deeper look at the suburb, including crime rates.

Another blog post on economic disadvanted students in suburban schools. Over 20% of Kettering school students are defined as economically disadvantaged. This post will show you which suburbs are getting "poorer"
