Default Information on The Village on Beavercreek

Hi,
Like the title says, I'm looking to see if anyone has any experience with the Village on Beavercreek apartments. It was formerly called Eastgate Manor, and it is off Patterson rd. There are only a handful of reviews on sites like apartmentratings (all great reviews), but I'm just looking for more in depth experiences, whether positive or negative. Thanks!

It's an older complex but seems well kept. The area is quiet. Used to live in the neighborhood across the street called Woodhaven. It's also quiet. Biggest concern is the creek is contaminated by chemicals from a 1970's barrel factory fire. So don't go swimming/fishing in the creek. There are signs. Bike path access is just around the corner too.

The only high-profile incident that recently happened there was a domestic dispute involving a ex-husband/ex-wife/Miamisburg-police-officer-boyfriend . If I remember correctly, the ex-officer gave the man's ex-wife a gun to shoot her ex-husband. She did, but he lived. Bad news for her and the ex-cop. Cannot remember if it was her apartment or his. Either way, random incidents like this can happen anywhere (CCN to West Dayton).

If I had to live in Beavercreek cheaply, that would be a top choice place.

I agree with the above post, and would like to add that if you like soft-serve ice cream, there is a place called Jet Freeze within walking distance if you continue west along Patterson Rd. Next to Jet Freeze is one of the better farmer's markets that I've been to.
