As has been indicated, nothing beats the OLD Cassano's, the ultimate in greasy/spicey/salty. Vic became a millionaire out of it. Things changed when pizza took on the air of food and ceased to be simply a party snack that was something "different" with some food value.

I bought a pizza yesterday, and why at "that" place? It's the closest place and has hot peppers for a topping. If they didn't have the hot peppers, even being closest wouldn't matter.

Those who come in peace are always welcome.

Well, it just depends on what you grew up with. When I travel through Georgia I always see signs selling boiled peanuts. I like sampling the local food, so I stopped and picked some up. Tasted like dirt. Could not seem to find the attraction. Lady in the store is telling me it is the bext thing ever. I guess it is just what you grow up with.

My weakness on a Cassano's pizza is green olives. I won't order green olives on pizza from anywhere else.

I had Cassano's once and promised myself to never make that mistake again.

Joe's Pizza is the best in Dayton in my opinion. There is only one location on Airway Road and it has been there forever.
