Also surprised there's been no discussion on the Cincinnati - Dayton partnership receiving 1.3b. Nan Whaley's first big win as mayor.

^uninterrupted kayaking from Eastwood Metropark to Carillon Park? I like the sound of that!

Austin Landing changes involve office space, bike hub | www.daytondailynews.com

(behind the paywall, sorry)

Basically a new 90,000 sq. ft. office building is going to be built facing I-75. The top 4 floors are office, the bottom floor is retail. Also the bike trail is going to be better integrated and a bike hub will be built.

The bike hub sounds cool. With our great trails, I would like to see more things like that built.

So, will you now be able to go from the River Run project to the Mad River Run project? I wish we could take out all, or most, of the dams to make the river better. I know there are reasons why they won't, but I wish we could come up with a way to do it.
