Since you are not from the Dayton area, I'll just give it to you straight. WC is known as a blue-collar area, and some neighborhoods are pretty trashy with people parking cars on the front lawn and such. Do you have kids in schools, any concern for resale in the future? If so, you'd be smart to check websites such as greatschools.org as neighborhoods typically are well represented by the schools they serve.

There's 2 parts of WC, the one you just mentioned, then the "richer" area down towards Miamisburg. King Richard/Orchard Hill is pretty decent imho.

Now down Elm towards the old Miami Paper mill plant, not so much. I have family trying to get out of that crime infested hell hole. I think heroin has pretty much taken over that area imho
