Yeah. They always do though, don't they . This does look even better than usual though. I hope they do this right. I'd love to see some things that aren't around this part of the area that everyone would go to. Places like a Nike store. An Apple store would have been nice too if they hadn't just put one in The Greene. What would you guys like to see?

A nice KTV bar haha

But seriously though, the KTV bar would be pretty cool! Especially if it served local craft beers.

Otherwise, maybe a Southern Tide or Vineyard Vines. Not sure if UD + Oakwood + West Kettering would be "preppy" enough to support those stores though. I would say lululemon but they just opened one in Oakwood. It will be interesting to see what kinds of retailers this site pulls, but I'm still hoping for a bigger focus on office and residential rather than retail.

Same here. I just think the downtown area needs some. Especially with the visitors we get for basketball games. That's why I think a Nike store would be good.

Think about the market here as also including Oakwood and Kettering, not just Dayton. It's location near the southern edge of town puts it in a good location to tap into fairly affluent close-in suburban areas, too.

That it will! The demographics at the site are probably among the best in the Dayton area. If the region is going to have some premier shopping, this would probably be among the better spots for it. Although the Greene has kinda solidified that role now...

You're welcome. I made a few recommendations (Nike Store, Tom+Chee, Hofbrauhaus, etc....) as examples of things I would like to be in the development.
