The team is being dropped. . Was able to get interview at Xavier. Is Dayton still viable if I work in the 'Nati?

It is, but there would be little point in needlessly making that commute.

Yes, I know one guy that makes the drive from Florence, KY to WPAFB...
from Xenia to the Cincinnati airport (to work at DHL after they moved there from Wilmington)...
from Fort Thomas, KY to UD to go to school every day...

If there's some other reason that keeps you glued to the Dayton region (i haven't heard you mention a SO but wherever he/she works may play into it?), then it's possible.

Erictelevision, I'll respond on your Cincy thread.

Sorry to hear the deal fell through and best of luck at the "enemy" school!
(Xavier and UD are BIG basketball rivals haha)

Even bigger with UC v. Xavier. BTW, I'm going to be the swim coach, hopefully.

You can. It isn't ideal, but it also isn't a terrible commute. A lot of people go from Dayton to Cincinnati or Cincinnati to Dayton. It is why it will soon be one metroplex. It won't be bad at all if you are in a suburb between the two.

You could, but why would you want to? Cinci has more to offer, I think you will have better medical care for your daughter, and, if you want to do something in this area for the day, we are not far away.

I would just live in cinci then make the commute, like someone else mentioned, cinci offers more and the location is better (closer to KY and TN which we love to visit)

Agreed Ice! That seems, on every level, the correct move.
