Having lived in Miamisburg for the last twelve years (recently moved to Dayton and was from Riverside before that) I can tell you that the heroin problem is huge. The schools try to give an image of being wholesome, etc. but the drugs are rampant, particularly at the high school. It seems to cross all socio-economic barriers. We knew plenty of kids down there from the richest to the poorest and a significant number of them were on heroin. It's simply heartbreaking. That said, I still loved living in Miamisburg the whole time I was there. The biggest concern would be if you happen to have teenagers really.

I second the motion to stay away from the Cherry Hill area and other apartment complexes.

Come to think of it though, it did seem that people were very prejudiced down there. There seem to be a lot of people that have lived there all their lives too and just seem to be stuck in high school days even though they may be 50 years old! lol.
