I saw this in the paper yesterday: https://www.daytondailynews.com/news...jiIRHH8Ck0DkK/

According to the article, Dayton RTA will shoulder 80% of the cost; CareSource and Premier Health are sponsors (employees will use the shuttles).

My question is, what is the financial health of Dayton RTA? Is this shuttle something that will be a good long-term service, or will it end up costing taxpayers at some point? Does Dayton RTA do well or does it run at a deficit?

Other thoughts?

The majority of their operating funds already come from taxes, as well as state and federal grant money.

UD students are also a target market.
