Moving to New Lebanon have school issue. (Dayton, Jefferson: daycare, house)

My husband has been relocated to Ohio next month. We have found a beautiful home on 4 acres for the kids (1 1/2 & 4) to roam and play. My problem is the house has a New Lebanon address but is listed as being in Jefferson Township. Which is were my big problem comes in with one child starting school next year. Does anyone know how to get the school boundaries moved? We have looked into the boundaries and they seem to be right across the street behind the neighbor’s house and about 1/2 mile down the street. We have called the New Lebanon superintendent and she says they are in open enrollment this year but can not guarantee next year. She also said that there was no opening this year for kindergarten. So, should I even try to figure this out and fight to move the boundaries or find a private school to send the kids to. The previous owner of the house said she was not worried about it because she was sending her girl to Dayton Christian. Also looking for a good Daycare for the other little one in the house?

Send your kids to a private school

Too bad you lived so close to the boundary, but trying to get these changed would be pretty tough.
