Arrow Romantic Dining in Dayton?

Trying to make some plans to take a lady out for a special night. I need to know the most romantic place in Dayton/Dayton area has to offer. Please help.

Also, any other tips for activities I can take her too is much appreciated. I don't live in the Dayton area but will be making a short visit and want to go out and have a good time.

Thanks

Lebanon is a little south of Dayton, but we recently went to the Golden Lamb and it was WONDERFUL.

The Oakwood Club is outstanding. Make sure you try the cinnamon sweet potatoes. The Fillet or Veal are both excellent choices. The atmosphere is cozy and dark.
The Oakwood Club in Dayton, Ohio

The Paragon Supper Club offers a pleasant dining experience, also with an excellent Fillet. Seating is more spread out than The Oakwood Club. They require men to wear Jackets if memory serves.
The Paragon Supper Cub

Pacchia offers a less traditional and more trendy dining experience. The food and service are very good though. The have live Jazz on certain evenings.

All of these will require reservations.

Im thinking the restuarant atop the Crown Plaza is nice for a nightime thing. It has a view of the city at night, as does the next door cocktale lounge, which has a jazz/piano bar thing going, for after dinner drinks.

I would recommend Benham's Restaurant. It is owned and run by Benham's Catering and it is the most romantic restaurants I have ever been to. Check out their website Benhams Restaurant and Catering. I notice it did have only lunch hours listed, but call to verify.

It's extremely small compared to other restaurants, but I just remember how elegant everything was, and the music was Mozart...

You would definitely need reservations, and coat and tie is required.

Hope you have a wonderful time, wherever you end up!

I will second the Oakwood Club. It is not only a wonderful restaurant with just the right amount of ambiance for romance, but they will also sell meats and vegetables in butcher form for those who want restaurant grade dining at home. I know a woman who always bought her ground beef at the Oakwood Club. Nothing at a grocery store could ever come close to the quality she had grown accustomed to.
