Default Other nice bar in Kettering besides the Pub at the Greene?

My boss lives in Kettering so when we have little work "celebrations" or "team building" he tends to like doing them at The Pub at the Greene.
I know its a nice place but just me personally, I don't think the food is very good and I like plain beer and good old fashioned sports bars.
Any Kettering recommendations I can suggest to the group next time?
Thanks,

You'd probably like Harrigan's Tavern. . which is on Marshall right near Stroop.

Then there's always the BW3 in Town and Country and Bar Louie at the Greene.

Fricker's on Woodman might also be an option for you.

Buffalo Wild Wings (yes it is a chain), and it is located in Town and Country at the southeast corner of Far Hills Rd (OH48) and Stroop Rd in Kettering.

Default Elsa's Kettering (summer)

Elsa's Kettering location - (out on the patio) - would be a good option for you & your coworkers when the weather starts to get warmer. It's across the street from Harrigan's.

A second vote for Elsa's in Kettering. Decent food and lot of TVs. I might be biased due to going there just about every friday or saturday night with my family for years.

Just bringing up something a little off topic. What kind of restaurants does the Greene have to offer?

The Greene :: Restaurants, Dining in Dayton, Ohio

Basically The Greene is a smaller version of Easton in Columbus.

Basically chains, usually more middle to upscale ones, though some are smaller chains then others (thus more unique), and I believe the Pasha's is independent. However, it continues to look rather empty. Really a sad thing, but it's hard to draw away from the familiar, especially when the familiar surrounds you.
