I just took a job between Cincinnnati and Dayton. Where should a single, late 20's professional woman look for an apartment/condo. I would like to be in an area where there are other single people to meet, go to a movie, the gym, theatre, or shopping. I am leaving a job in small town Ohio which could double for Pleasantville. Its a great place if you already have a husband and kids. - I want that - but everybody is already taken here. I don't want to make the same mistake twice. I want safe, but want someplace vibrant. Does it exist north of Cincinnati or South of Dayton??

Oxford could be a good choice, if you don't mind a college scene. I have no idea what it's like to live there as a young professional, but it's a nice college town with a lot of what you are looking for.

If you want safety, downtown Dayton and nearby communities might not be a good option. It's not so much that it wouldn't be safe, but you might not feel safe.

Springboro, Centerville, Beavercreek, Fairborn, and parts of Miamisburg are probably what you are looking for. Tons of shopping and entertainment. You can check out those towns on your own to see which one fits your budget best. Safety wouldn't be an issue in any of the towns and all of them are close to the major highway systems. If I had to pick which one I'd live in.... it'd probably be Springboro followed closely by Centerville.

Dayton in general is a bad place for singles. Most young singles leave here rather than come here.

For the city Oregon and South Park are the best as there is quite a bit of nightlife in Oregon and a few places downtown that get a singles crowd (J-Alans is an example). Downtown & Oregon stastically safe, though the locals here in Dayton dont see it that way.

Springboro is a family oriented community, not a place for singles. Centerville/Washington Township has more singles, I think. Beavercreek does too, more in the WSU/Fairfield Commons area.

Habitat of Miamisburg(Miami Twp.) is full of single professionals, there are also numerous ones in Washington Township (near Centerville) and also in Centerville itself. Default Move right in!

Hi, I am a single women living in Centerville and working in Cincinnati and I am moving out of the area. Centerville has been great for me, its a lovely community. Just so happens that I am renting or rent to own my newly remodeled 2 bed/2 bath very large condo in laked community with security and pool. I love my condo it has large windows, patio doors and vaulted ceilings so I get lots of sunshine. Its an open floor plan so it seems even larger, great for entertaining.

I also belong to a car pool that leaves from Centerville to Cincy, Monday thru Friday and my car pool buddies are two really nice, safe gentlemen (married, which is good). I drive only 1 week of every three so the cost savings and limited mileage and wear on my car is great.

Its easy for find places in the Centerville, Miamisburg, Kettering, Beavercreek area to find men and fun activites.

If you would be interested in taking over my condo or place in the car pool, just give me a call- 937-287-3010
