Ummm, okay. I don't recall saying that Dayton was more cosmopolitan than Atlanta.

Has the Mayor commented on anything? I've seen comments from the Governor and City Council, but where is the Mayor? Who is the mayor, anyway?

Apparently it's Rhine McLin. I don't know much about her. When I started typing in her name, I got to "Rhine Mc" when Google suggested I try 1. Rhine McLin or 2. Rhine McLin Glasses. Out of curiosity, I tried the glasses link. Apparently, she wear glasses that have one round lens and one square lens. Here's an interview with her:

A Square Deal for a Well-Rounded Town? MayorTV Sits Down with Dayton Mayor Rhine McLin | DMI Blog

Apparently she's going to have a hard time if she runs again according to this news clip:

NCR should just go ahead and move to China if it wants cheap, easily exploitable labor. In the race to the bottom, the Chinese are several lengths ahead of even Georgia.

Dayton doesn't have kudzu or anything NEAR as bad as the I-285. And we already have Waflle Houses up here so the NCR execs didn't have to go down there for smothered, scattered, covered...

Well, Crew Chief, perhaps karma (and I-285) will come back to bite NCR in the butt.

I hope the folks that made the decision are stuck in a perpetual traffic jam on the same humid August day their respective automobile AC systems (not made in Dayton, natch) go out.

More sour grapes. Freaknik has been gone for years now.

What some of you are saying about Atlanta is beyond laughable.

I hate what NCR has done to its hometown, but let's get real here folks.

They got rid of Freaknik years ago. They have a very small, watered-down version of it now I think.
