WPAFB is definitely hiring, but they want people with experience and security clearances.

It's just as tough here as it is anywhere else right now finding jobs. It's not going to be a matter of sending your resume and sitting back. Too much competition - so it's going to be a full time job finding a job and a lot of face to face networking. Basic Marketing 101 says to find centers of influence - people who know a lot of people - and work those people. Seems counterproductive in a high tech world of internet, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc - but it's going to come down to who you know and who they know - and it's going to have to be a personal approach, not from your keyboard.

Reaching out here is a good start, but don't wait until graduation to hit the ground running.

Sometimes it takes people to leave a place until they realized how good they had it there. Ohio has plenty of culture, diversity, big and little cities, beautiful countryside, a national park, home to many large companies, cheap place to live in... get a lot for your money, and the list goes on and on.

Ohio is extremely underrated.
