I sent this letter out to our Community Captains a few weeks back and now I would like to share it with the rest of our supporters and friends. It will give you an idea of just how busy we are.

1. Our NON profit status is still in the works (Until the IRS makes their final ruling our organization will be Tax Exempt. We currently meet all of the qualifications, however I just wanted to make you aware of this fact.) This will NOT affect our future fundraising efforts at all.
2. Our support is growing on a rapid level. As I sit here typing this letter,bumper stickers are being made, car-magnets are being shipped, yard signs are being produced, 2000 business cards are being printed, flyers are being produced, and our 100 5 gallon containers from US Plastics have also arrived in Arkansas for labels. As a result, Operation: "Dimes 4 Dayton" will be launched on time. (All of the proceeds from this 36 month long economic drive WILL go back into the communities)
3. Our community poll was also a great success, visitors via our website got to cast their vote on one top community for us to begin work in. After the voting was complete, we found out that we would begin our work inside of the Westwood Community. If Westwood is what the residents of Dayton want, then this is where we're going to start!" Bottom line is we have to begin operations somewhere, and by listening to the voice of the people, we have proven that this is an ORGANIZATION that cares and is deeply committed to restoring the luster to our city.
4. I sent an e-mail to Dayton BBB, and they have been gracious enough to e-mail us information on how that "Citizens 4 Change" can become affiliated with them. I'm scheduled to meet with the Dayton BBB in Dec as well, as this will be another huge step for us.
5. Last but certainly not least, we now have over 428 Fans of "Citizens 4 Change", over 300 residents in our group, 345 Friends of Dayton, 120 for our cause, 42 followers on Twitter, 10 on myspace, and we have recently reached over 2100 webhits. Also we have started posting in several local forums to include;
www.Daytonmostmetro.com www.dayton.com and
www.city-data.com
Again I would like to take this time to thank you all so very much for your support, and as it stands we're looking to have a great turnout in Dec at our 1st public meeting
