O, Wurzig, I'm so sorry about your tubes. They're so small and, when they get blocked...ouch.

I'm still wrapping! I've been doing it since 5:00 PM yesterday (12 straight hours). And that doesnt count the 5-6 hours that I spent wrapping gifts last week for my Colorado daughter/grandson and my Minnesota grandson.

I have at least another 3-4 hours left. And, after I get the additional batteries, cash and candy tomorrow, I'll have at least additional 2-3 hours. I dont dare drink any Daily's, as I have to go to the bank in a few hours and get $40 worth of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters for the piggy banks. And I have to go to Walgreen's and buy some candy for the candy dispensers. The batteries are already on their way from Amazon.

Edited to add that some of the time tonight has been spent on preparing some gifts. I bought glass coaster sets with photo frame insets for everyone. And I thought it would be more meaningful if I put photos in all the coasters. So that has taken a lot of time -- selecting the right photos and cropping them appropriately. I also bought other items (glass paperweights, etc) that require photos and have been putting photos in them as well.

TFW & Wurzig....sure hope you both get to feeling better so you can get on with your holiday 'cheer'.
TFW...it is expensive to ship change since it's so heavy (for the piggy banks). Why don't you just send a gift card and let them pick up their own change.

I'm with Wurzig, I haven't done too much in the way of Christmas other than the decorating. I stay so exasperated with my two younger kids, until quite frankly, I really don't care. It's not worth even going into on a forum. When my lease comes up in March, I may very well make arrangements to move elsewhere.

Hey, Glory! All the gifts that have to be shipped have already been.

The piggy banks are all for kids here in Houston. I already shipped a piggy bank (with folding bills) to one grandson in Colorado and deposited $$$ in the checking account of my Minnesota grandson.

I still have some wrapping left but I'm too tired to do anything more right now. I think the reason I was able to stay up all night is that I spent the past couple of days, more or less, in bed. But I'm beat and need a nap before I get behind the wheel to go to the bank and a few other places this AM.

And, Glory, I'm so sorry about your kids. I know the feeling. In fact, when I was going through the gift closet about 10 days ago, I was so depressed because of one of my daughters that I asked my sister to give my daughter and her family their presents. I didnt even want to see them this holiday. (Are you sure we werent separated at birth?)

I know I was on heavy-duty pain-killers most of the year but I still cant believe I bought all this stuff.

OK, enough griping. I've been saving some Daily's Margaritas-in-a-Pouch for a special occasion -- and tonight is looking more special by the minute.
One last time ( not, lol ) I wish we lived closer. I would love to come spend the day with you and wrap gifts.

P.S., I have my own pouches.
