It's the Zombie Fallout series by Mark Tufo.

I've been reading too much nonfiction lately and needed some good ol' zombie books to cheer me up. No lie.
Do you watch The Walking Dead? It also has a new show on right after it, but it has ended for the season.....about the start of the railroad.....can't think of the name right now.

We are NOT zombie people either, but TWD is really good! I don't think I could read a book on it though......eek!

I didn't post last night because sometimes it leaves Bob nothing to post the next morning. I'll be back after I take Izzy to school to post the other stuff.
Happy Late Birthday, GLORYBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!
Hope you had a great day and got lots of kisses and hugs from Izzy!

I picked up all this free food yesterday....and SURE ENOUGH.....my son found it in the fridge early this morning.
It's okay, just calories I didn't need anyway.

I went thru the Drive Thru at McDonald's today after Izzy and I went shopping. I got an order of their new chicken poppers. Could've just been this particular location....but what a total waste of money. They were like hard little kernels in a box. Just awful.
I go to MCDonalds maybe 3 times a year......my kid is grown so she gets her own chix nuggets......LOL (I think we bought 3 trillion happy meals when she was little and she still likes nuggets at McDonalds but prefers them at Burger King). ANYWAY, they now have this really nice mushroom burger with swiss cheese on it.....I can never eat it all but it's pretty good. Try that next time.

$5.00 for posting a freebie? Are they nuts?

Campie, do they have AAA in Texas? They are lifesavers when you have a flat, dead battery or need maps......we've been members forever.... They are a bit different in CO. than CA., and when we moved here I had to re-join us, (instead of transferring straight over), but I made sure that our cards said that we had been members for xyz years instead of brand new....for some reason, that was really important that I have that on our cards... Also, my girl had to get her own in CA. when she turned 21......here, she can still be on ours and it's a bit cheaper....there are rules, such as have to be in school or have to live in our house or something, but we 'fit' those rules....

We just got the DVD that we had made for our friend's memorial......cried my eyes out....it's only a matter of time........sigh...

We had a tiny bit of snow yesterday and it would swirl around in the wind......but nothing stuck...... Today is a nice winter day....just wore a sweatshirt to the grocery store....coat was not needed.

I went over to the $5.00 accusation......I just couldn't let it pass without making a comment. Sometimes you just need to let things go and let it roll off your shoulders, but I couldn't....

Oh yes, I watch TWD. I bought the first season, too. I've read the "comics" and there is a lot more to come for those poor survivors. I think it starts again in February for the Feb. sweeps. All my shows are coming back except for Big Love. Big Love is over.......ahahahahahaha.

The gray-haired grandpa-dad who owns that farm house used to play Catherine's (CSI Vegas) dad...he owned a big casino......but I think he got killed...I was wondering if he was going to resurface somewhere. I was sad to learn that his wife and that little lost girl were in the barn....

The railroad show is good, too...so interesting about the freed slaves building the railroad...not knowing how to deal with their first taste of freedom....and others not knowing how to deal with them...plus, that main guy is cute.......and did you know that the main slave guy, (with the shaved head), is a professional singer? Not rock and roll.....I have heard him, but I forgot the type of music.......kind of jazzy Isaac Hayes style.....not rap....

On the west coast, we learned all about the Chinese help in building it when we were kids......but we did not learn very much about the former slaves coming (building) across the U.S......

This is an actual street sign in Thailand. The photo was taken by a friend of mine whose daughter was teaching there recently.
