You are a woman after my own heart ketabcha! I have the kids who still need my help....but there is nothing I enjoy more than just being alone. I wish they would marry and move along.
I can't imagine how much it is hurting the tourist industry for so many flights to be cancelled. Then wait until everyone gets their utility bills.....it is going to be a financial hardship for lots of folks out there. We live in Florida and my dad said his utility bill was close to $400!!
Soggy weekend here. I still haven't finished my taxes....guess I'll do that today. They really aren't complicated....I've just keep putting off.

I live about 5 miles from the Super Bowl site. It's beautiful outside. 45° and the sun is shining. The prediction is that it will be snowing by 2 pm today. That's a little over 3 hours from now. Amazing.

I lived in Jacksonville, FL when they had the Super Bowl there. My daughter was chosen as one of the group of teens to sing around Paul McCartney. She had no idea who he even was.
I used the $10 Pizza Hut gift card I got in the mail on Friday for the kid's Super Bowl viewing. (This was from the Facebook Stuffed Pizza New Year's promo.

This week has gone by so fast! I'm excited about tomorrow. It is payday and I took the day off so I cam enjoy the new laptop I am buying in the morning. I've been planning to buy a new one for over a month and kept putting it off until I was SURE I didn't need the money more elsewhere. The kids are okay for awhile since they got their income tax returns. (I haven't even finished mine...)
It is cooler, not cold, here.....and overcast today. Not sure if we are getting any rain or not. I can see the duckpond behind my condo really does need some additional water.
