Sudcaro had a baby girl.
Gandalara had her girl come for the holidays.
Camper was the girl who won a box of Streudels in the Instant Win Games.
The rest of us girls were hanging out at the mailbox waiting for freebies.
Thanks so much for the summary, Glory! Congrats to Sudcaro, Gandalara and Camper!
And to the rest who hung around your mailboxes, I hope your waits were fruitful.
Queenie is still at my daughter's house. She's been there since mid-September. I miss her SO much but she's having a great time..going for walks every day, to the dog park weekly, running at Memorial Park every weekend -- and, with five people in that house, there's always someone to love on her. My daughter sent me a photo at Christmas of Queenie and my oldest granddaughter that warmed my heart:
As a result of the anesthesia, all the difficult recovery and the anti-gout meds I have to take twice daily until I've healed, my hair has fallen out terribly. My sister took me to the hairdresser who determined that she had to almost scalp me to try to hide my baldness. I took the below photo for my daughter, who didnt believe how short my hair was cut. When you look at the photo, remember that I'm going to be 65 next month and I've had a rough year :
Thanks, Camper and Ketabcha. I think I look weary, which is to be expected after the past six months.
Camper, i like seeing other people's homes too. My home is very small (1200 sq ft) but that's made it easier (and cheaper) to upgrade and decorate. I've posted photos of it in the House and Home Interiors forums. I love those shelves; they have little lights on them (which I never think to use)
