I got the Daily Deal thread going then screwed up by accidentally dividing the thread. Hopefully a moderator will find my note soon and fix it. Oh well....it's by far not the DUMBEST thing I've ever done. I hope you guys like the addition and will be able to save money by utilizing the links.

I seldom have a lot of money to just spend on stuff....but when I do, it's great to find it on sale.

I don't know what this is....but I thought it was interesting:

SOOOOOOOOOO....what is everyone planning for Easter?

It reminded me of a newspaper printing press.

We opted to stay home instead of going camping. Not sure how many more years we will have to dye eggs with my daughter. Of course it's not like hubby and I didn't do it before we were parents.

Newspaper printing press? What a coincidence. CRAP...even subconsciously I'm thinking about work. Actually, we have a look out spot behind glass where you can see all this going on and it IS sort of interesting.

My mom was so excited that they were getting to watch Israel (their great grandchild) hunt eggs until she dyed two dozen. I asked her on the phone if she didn't think that Izzy's mom might want to do a few with him and what the heck were we going to do with all those eggs?????? It's all good, we will eat them eventually. Hard boiled eggs seem to keep for a long time.

Since he is only 3, we told him the Easter Bunny was going to come after dinner at his Papa's house. That way my dad gets to hide the eggs. We'll give him his basket with a couple of toys & a little candy to keep him busy for the drive to my parents (a couple of hours away).

Oh....OhioGirl....I read on the post where you said your dog's names were Cookie and Checkers. We used to have a white bulldog when the kids were younger named Cracker. He was really an unattractive dog with the two different colored eyes and weird spots....but we loved him anyway.

WAIT....I have a pic of him in my photobucket account....

Why did we buy him? Because he was so odd looking as a puppy too....
(not sure why the right blue eye is blacked out...probably scared the camera.)

There's no such thing as an unattractive dog.

Just a quick note to say hi. I've been in KY visiting my hubby this week. Online now to find a hotel for the drive back. No internet in his apt.! But that's been good, in case I do have the carpal tunnel syndrome. May not be able to post again til Sun. or Mon., since I'll need a couple days to recover from the long drive back. Hope everyone is well! Stay safe, friends.

LibraryThing just came out with a really weird addition. Er, they call it a "physical-description feature". (LibraryThing is a cataloging site for book owners. I actually joined for insurance purposes!)

One feature ....

Freebie Chat thread part 2-librarything.jpg

My books are taller than the Empire State Building. Gotta get some more so I'll be bigger than Niagara Falls.
