My books are taller than the Empire State Building. Gotta get some more so I'll be bigger than Niagara Falls.
How cool is that?

I used to have a lot of books, but through the years I've started giving them away because I really DO want to retire into a motor home and I'm not sure what I would do with all of them. (YES, I need to retire in something that can ROLL AWAY or one of my kids will be living with me forever.....)

Me too me too me too. I plan on boxing up the autographed ones and the first editions and storing them in a climate controlled room (my sister's back bedroom, Ha!). The rest will be given to the local library.

Then I'll buy a Kindle and drive away

ALMOST EASTER.......

I hope everyone is enjoying their day. I don't have to work today...so there's ONE good thing! I do have some shopping to do for tomorrow. We are going to my parent's house, but my Dad had a birthday awhile back, and I still need to get him a main gift.

I don't mind driving to my parent's house, but they are in good health, are financially secure, don't have to work and have a new vehicle.....BUT.....they say it's too much to drive the two hours south to visit us. Retired folks are always just SOOOOOOOOOOO busy......

Not sure there will be much in the way of Freebies....but I'll give it a search this fine Saturday morning.

Cute. I had to read it three times before I got it!

Happy Easter everyone. Whats on your menu?

Ham
Macaroni salad
Baked beans
Deviled eggs
Fresh rolls

And a kinda apple cobbler strudel thing I found on the back of the snickerdoodle cookie mix. Looks GOOD.

Actually Camper, we went to my mom's house and had friend fresh mullet my brother had caught. We also had creamy cheesy grits, a mixed squash casserole and lots of other stuff. It was unconventional, but everything we all love as a family.

We had a great day!!

I hope everyone else enjoyed their Easter as well!

How exactly does one catch a mullet? Is that like a slow running Billy Ray? The cheesy grits sound wonderful. I was raised on stuff like that.

I cant even lift my arms today. Waaaay to much wii.
