I dont know if you remember the issue but it seems that, as the car ages and some particular part wears down, a spark can ignite the engine even (and especially) when the car is turned off. There were news stories about those cars bursting into fire in the garages while everyone was asleep and entire houses burning down.

I never tell my adult children what to do at all so I bit my lip after sending her some websites (at her request). I've been holding my breath (and my mouth) but I pray she wont buy that car.
Whadaya mean 18-year-old granddaughter? You are not that old!

You're so sweet. I have a 25-year old grandson. I just turned 65. What's that old saying...If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself.

So...are all of you off drinking margaritas without me?

I took the bus yesterday. Going TO work was fine, but coming back last night was such a trip. There was a guy on there making clicking sounds with his throat. I wasn't sure how to respond. I have a friend at work who I usually give a ride home to so SHE doesn't have to take the bus, so we rode together last night. Other than it taking twice as long to get anywhere, it was a better experience than I had expected. I sure do miss my car...

They cut our hours at work again. First they beg for extra hours and then they cut them. They say it's based on 'company need'. .....then they wonder why no one wants to be a team player any longer. I don't really care what they do any longer. As long as I get a paycheck, it's all good.

No margaritas for me lately but thats a thought right now. had to get an injection in my knee this morning. Ouch. I could use one frozen pouch on each side and one to drink right about now.
