Truthfully, I didn't realize it until MagnumMike sent me a note.

Thanks! I am really getting into the thunder storms......they are so amazing...... We got caught, after dark, in a super-serious one last night though......could barely see the road......so it's better to be home when they hit.......

They cut our hours at work again. First they beg for extra hours and then they cut them. They say it's based on 'company need'. .....then they wonder why no one wants to be a team player any longer.

I don't really care what they do any longer. As long as I get a paycheck, it's all good.

Maybe he had Turretts (sp) and was trying very hard to keep quiet???

Fluctuation in hours is hard when you have bills to pay......

I enjoy the bus too. If only they wouldn't take forever. I'm light skinned, but this Texas sun and the bus company are responsible for tanning a few body parts.

GOOD MORNING!

I had a good day yesterday. A friend from work sent her husband by to check out my car. He said it looked as though I needed a new oil pan and possibly an oil pump (only because the oil light still flickers). Other than that, it was probably no big deal. As long as the car wasn't losing much oil and wasn't running hot, I could drive it until I take it to the shop on Friday. So, I got to drive my car to work yesterday!!!!

Guess I better get busy checking for some freebies..................

Isn't THAT the truth!! I wouldn't mind taking the bus at all or even that the drive itself is longer, it is the darn WAITING for the bus that is so hard. If they had more of those bus stop shelters, I think more folks would take the bus. The price can't be beat.....sure is a lot cheaper than gas.
