I love that style of music. I used to have a really nice CD from The Platters which has gotten lost over time. I need to get my son to make me another one from online.

My boss called to see if I wanted off this evening....said he forgot to ask me last night at work. I don't want to take a night off since I really have no plans. Birthdays just aren't as much fun after you can't party like a poptart.

Guess you'll have to sit in a chair in front of the mailbox instead.

I used to like to thrift shop when the kids were young.....just to find cheap toys and such. Now, I just don't want to acquire any more items. I DO check out the Goodwill down the road every now and then.

I don't go for clothes, just... stuff. always good for the camper. Sometimes a bowl or a what ever. Last time we went I got some brand new really good heavy duty serving spoons for the camper for $.50!! When we have our get together someone always forgets their spoon. This way I don't have to worry about loosing something good.

Got it the battery all charged, maybe I'll try again tomorrow...

Been in bed all day so I'm sorry I'm late with the birthday wishes, Glory. I'll find your birthday thread but wanted to post this here for you too:

So sorry about your car trouble, Camper. At least it happened at home and you werent stranded somewhere. (That's what I've told myself when my car is dead in the garage.)

I just saw Ketabcha's post. Oh I loved THE CRESTS and 16 CANDLES!!!

"Do-wop" from the mid-to-late 1950's is my favorite kind for music. Thanks so much, Ketabcha!!
