It's FRIDAY.....AND PAYDAY! (Much more exciting than a birthday........)

I'm keeping Izzy home today. He's cutting a tooth and running a low temp. It's so rainy and windy
outside, until it's not worth him getting sick. He's been invited to a birthday party for a classmate
tomorrow and I don't want him to miss it. I'll take him later, when it clears up, to buy the gift and
all. He's also up for a haircut. They sent home 'lice letters' from school yesterday. I told my daughter better safe than sorry.....so maybe keep it REALLY short for now.

My daughter got lice when she was in 5th grade (I think). She had this LONG THICK hair and it was
just a nightmare. I remember renting Gone With The Wind. She watched it while I painstakingly pulled out all those eggs out of her hair.

I think we all went thru the lice thing with our kids at one time or another. My adult daughter actually came home a few months ago saying one of her friends sisters came home with lice from collage!! My daughter had just spent the night there! I wasn't taking any chances so off I go to the store and get all the needed hair stuff, strip all the beds and get the furniture spray.
Sorry to hear Izzy's under the weather again. Hope he's better in time for the party.

The best way to get rid of lice as an older person is to use hair dye. Two birds with one stone......

I picked up all this free food yesterday....and SURE ENOUGH.....my son found it in the fridge early this morning.
It's okay, just calories I didn't need anyway.

I went thru the Drive Thru at McDonald's today after Izzy and I went shopping. I got an order of their new chicken poppers. Could've just been this particular location....but what a total waste of money. They were like hard little kernels in a box. Just awful.

Maybe you got the chicken poopers by mistake.

My van is good!!!! The battery was just low. Hubby was out fixing the lock the other day and said he must have left the door open to long. I LOVE MY VAN!!!! It's a bit aged (2001) but it's paid for and still looks good. We took the back seat out and I can carry all kinds of crap home now.

I have to leave for work. It's still so windy and ugly outside. I hope it clears up before tomorrow.

If I miss anyone, make sure to have a GREAT weekend and I'll see you later tonight or tomorrow morning.

HAPPY SATURDAY!

I slept later than usual. Sure did feel good. It's a BEAUTIFUL day outside, so Izzy should have great fun at the birthday party for his friend today. He's just so excited....every few minutes he reads off the numbers on my clock.

I'm SO not in the mood for posting after someone left me a meanie post on the January Deal thread yesturday.

Can you imagine someone thinking I actually got $5 for every deal posted? If that were true, TFW and I would be in VEGAS this weekend with our deal posting loot!

I'll follow the saying on my desk..............Stay Calm and Carry On.

Glory! I'm so sorry someone would even think that of you, let alone actually put it in writing. From all the nice people in the world, let me please apologize for all the scum out there and their ability to use a key board.

We love you!!!

If you guys are going to Vegas, I'll drive the party bus!!!!

Izzy's friend has a fever....so they cancelled the party. He cried, but I told him to think of the disappointment his friend is feeling compared to his. We decided to make a get well card and bring the gift by the little boys house. I also had a dinosaur bath fizzie to make him happy. It was cute, it's a egg that fizzes in the water and there is a baby dinosaur inside. I got it at WalMart yesterday for a dollar.

My youngest son and are going to the Olive Garden this afternoon and I'm going to buy a new cell phone. I hate cell phones.....but I don't want to pay for a land line when I move. All I want in internet connection....not cable and phone.
