Yes I did. Planted about 8 seeds last winter. Wonder how long it will take to start bearing fruit. I think its a Rainer cherry.

RAIN! GLORIOUS RAIN! OMG, I cant believe it. Real wet stuff falling from the sky. I almost want to go outside and dance.

msev, I still marvel that you were able to grow that lovely plant from seed. I think you could probably google how long it will take to bear fruit -- or you could post the question in the GARDEN forum.

Ain't it grand?!! It poured here all day Friday to the point of it made me think my daughter wasn't going to be able to start moving but it all worked out perfect. Stopped just in time and turned a little cool. Then got some more this morning. It seems like it rains just enough o where we cant get the grass cut. grr...

It rained in my area for only 10 minutes. But I'm happy for even 10 minutes. First time I've seen rain in forever.

That's exactly what it was like, Camper. What a wonderful metaphor.

I just looked at a map that reflects this past weekend's rainfall totals for Greater Houston. My area got 0.01 inches of "sweat". But it was nice while it lasted.

Good morning!!!!! Sorry I've been gone so long. Life just gets in the way sometimes.
had a great time camping and playing in the river this last weekend but OMG!! HUMID!!!!! I don't think I have ever changed my undies so many times in one day! Just cant stand the wet drawers...

TFW, we have had so much rain, the grass is way out of control. But I have had plants start to come up that I haven't seen in years.

How wonderful that you've had such a great time, Camper. Also that you've gotten so much rain. No rain here and none in the forecast. My yardman, who usually mows once a week in the summer, now has to mow only once every 2.5 weeks -- and he could actually go more than 3+ weeks at a time. I pay him in advance each January for the entire year so, with this drought, I've really been overpaying the past 3 years.

Queenie's dealing with another cervical (neck) disc attack -- not as bad as the last time, but still troublesome. I've been staying home, as I hate to leave her when she's feeling bad. But I dont mind staying home to be with her. She's such an awesome companion, even when she's not feeling well.
