I tried to cancel it two days ago. Apparently the only way you can do that is to send walmart.com a message -- which I did, but they never responded.

That's why I called them this afternoon. The lady with whom I spoke said she would cancel the account immediately. I havent checked yet to see if she did. I'll check on that tonight.

I've been buying on the internet for 15+ years. I buy everything (furniture, food, all household accessories, etc) online. The only thing I buy locally is fruits and vegetables. I have very difficult-to-hack passwords. This is the first time that my account anywhere has been hacked.

But the hacker messed with the wrong person. Since walmart.com doesnt seem concerned about other accounts having this same problem, I'm going to get a copy of the attempted purchase from May -- that was a crime because that same person did go through with it and was stopped only because the purchase exceeded my credit card limit -- and then I'm going to the police.

I checked and my walmart.com account doesnt exist anymore.

I also checked all my other accounts. I use Paypal on most of them. I like Paypal because of its special safety feature. I got a card, the size of a credit card, from Paypal -- when I want to log in to my Paypal account, I touch a special place on the card and a 6-digit number pops up. I enter that number into a special screen and then I can log in.

Good thing I didnt have @$2,400 available on my account in May -- or they'd have gotten a computer then. And thanks for listening.

Thanks, Camper. I had a really great day. My daughter came over and was able to stay for 4-5 hours. She has such a busy schedule -- with 3 teen-aged girls, a full-time job and a full college schedule -- that she doesnt often get the opportunity or the time to come by. We had a truly lovely visit. And Queenie was feeling good too. An awesome day all around.

How cool, msev! I'd love to know how it does catching flies and gnats.

Every so often I have to use those sticky-strips to catch the small gnats that always come with bags of potting soil. They're effective but very unattractive. Maybe a Venus Flytrap would be the answer.

I dont know how I did it, but I broke my little toe a few days ago. I remember bumping into one of the living room chairs and also tripping over something.

It hurt so bad that I started taking my gout medication because that's what I thought it was. Then the toe swelled up and turned purple and I knew it wasnt gout.

I buddy-taped it to the toe next to it. That relieved a little of the pain. There's nothing a doc can do for a broken toe so I wont bother going to either my PCP or my podiatrist.

I just wanted to whine to someone.
