Did you have problems canceling a previous subscription moved?
Just write cancel on the renewal bill after the first year or call the customer service number.
They don't have a credit card or anything....so all they can do is bill you after the free subscription year.

I don't get any paper bills. The magazines suddenly started arriving in my mailbox, and I never subscribed to it. It's a men's magazine, similar to Playboy, and it came through some sort of clearinghouse. It took over three months to get it stopped, then it started up again. I had the same problems with other magazines that I never subscribed to. The only magazine that I subscribe to is ALLYOU for coupons, and I get SHAPE, Woman's Day, Town & Country and Country Life for free. This should give you an indication of my interests, and it's sure not MAXIM magazine!

I got a free subscription the last time it was posted here. It is a men's magazine but nothing at all like Playboy. There's been nothing in the two issues I've received that I'd be embarrassed for my grandkids to see (and I'm a prude). It has some pretty good articles.

I love ALL YOU, COUNTRY LIVING, BETTER HOMES & GARDENS, REAL SIMPLE, WOMAN'S DAY and magazines like that. I wouldnt pay for MAXIM but I'm enjoying it too.

I can't afford to subscribe to all the ones that I like, so I go the library and read them. When I'm finished reading the ones at home, I give them to my next door neighbor to read.

I don't get MAXIM because it wouldn't be appropriate for work.....and that is pretty much the only place where I look at magazines. Other than that, it is a wildly popular magazine.
