Apartment building with the small mailboxes and do freebie stuff?

I am moving to apartments with those little mailboxes and would love to start it back up but where does the postman deliver to if it doesn't fit in the mailbox???

We have smaller personal mailboxes where I live. UNDER those mailboxes are larger boxes. If the package or content of my mail is too large for my smaller box, the mailman leaves a key in my box that opens one of the larger boxes. Once the key is inserted into the larger box and I've taken out my package/mail, then the key stays locked in the larger mailbox lock until the mailman retrieves it the next day.

Not sure if yours will be set up the same way Pik, but I think this is pretty much the standard for condo/apartment mail areas in order to keep people from constantly having to go to the post office.

I only have the small apartment box. So far, all my samples but one made it in. I had to pick up the other at a post office sub-station.
