Man, you guys are good. I cant remember what I just watch let alone something from that long ago. However when you mention an episode, I do remember it. Twilight Zone was one of my favorite shows.

I'm trying to be good and stay off the computer so much... lets see how long it last.

That episode was also one of my favorites. I watched it, for at least the 7th-8th time, on New Years Day and enjoyed it even more than the 1st time I saw it.

BRRR...My outdoor thermometer says 28 degrees at 7:00 AM. It's been a long time since it was that cold in Houston.

I didnt cover any of my outdoor plants...survival of the fittest at my house these days. But I did leave two faucets (one hot and one cold) trickling and I did open the kitchen cabinet doors.

How cold is it elsewhere? Bob's place must really be cold.

The 50s? For real? It's still 28 here at 8:30 AM. How often is it 20 degrees colder in Texas than it is in Massachusetts????????

I've drunk 4 cups of coffee (I never drank coffee, ever, before I retired 3 years ago -- now I have 2 cups every morning) and am getting ready to take a nap.

It's 28 here! All of my poor bird baths are still frozen. I still have one faucet dripping plus doing some laundry . I thought our high was supposed to be 40 but I think that's not going to happen .
I made a beautiful roast yesterday so I could have it for beef stew tonight!! Did my hubby marry well or what!!!!😂😂😂

I'm a one cup a day girl these days too , except when it's like this. Just wish I could learn to drink it black and not have all the extra calories.😕

It's 6:21 pm - currently 25 and dropping

Don't forget folks (especially those in areas that seldom/never experience such cold) - open your cabinet doors to kitchen/bathroom sinks on outer walls to help get some heat to the pipes (better safe than sorry) - of course, most know in really cold areas to let the water drip.

Wow. It's supposed to get down to 21 here tonight.

Not only let the water drip, but let one faucet trickle hot water. Hot water pipes freeze faster than cold water pipes do.
