What wonderful photos, Bob! I read that your area is going to be hit with more snow starting tonight and came to this forum to say "Stay warm and dry". I'm so glad your retirement park is such a nice place to live.

Flamingo, I used to love the snow when I was younger. I lived in Denver when my kids were babies and I never wore a coat -- only a sweater on the coldest days. But now I'm chilled if the temp drops into the 50s. I hate getting old.

I used to love snow too (still like to see it), it honestly seems like a drier snow in Pgh. and not as bone-chilling as here (more humidity and usually heavy, wet snows) - since my fibromyalgia it's gotten painful (although I still keep it cooler in the house than many are comfortable with) - the shoveling, etc. doesn't help either.

Hope Bob will be okay - power was out for a couple hrs. until just a short time ago so I missed all the news, weather reports, etc.

Luckily all the snow has been light and fluffy so its not that bad.

The kids will be going to school in July with all the snow days!

Glad it's light and fluffy, still - a foot or so is a foot - assuming that's what they still are calling for?

I agree with Flamingo -- a foot of snow is still a foot of snow, regardless of its consistency. And that pink crescent in the weather map looks scary. Stay warm and dry, dear Bob!

I am LOVING living in Texas today!!! I think the snow is beautiful and fun to play in as a kid but I think I would be so afraid to drive in it. But come August in Texas I think I would move in a heartbeat. No matter where you live, it's a trade off.
