The Weather Channel reported that Boston is getting about 1" or so of snow. Is that right, Bob?

Flamingo, glad to hear that you didnt get any more snow.

Should I tell youall that it got up to 82 here today? Lots of rain predicted for tomorrow but I try to stay inside on the weekends anyway. Camper, if the rain lets up in your area, I'm sure you'll be camping.

Great news, Bob. This should be the last of your snow. I'm sure youall are glad, although I must admit I've admired the resilience and upbeat attitude of you Bostonians.

And, Flamingo, I'll get mine when it's 100+ degrees for weeks on end here this summer.

Wow, Flamingo, I didnt realize that your area gets that kind of heat and humidity.

It's been raining, fairly hard, here for over 8 hours. Surprisingly, though, it's not dreary. A cool front came in with the rain and I have the patio door and the garden windows open to let the cool air in. We've gotten more rain in the past month than we've had in the past 5 years combined -- my hedges and patio plants are loving it.

We don't get as many as you TFW (people die in TX - but we get our share (it's often over 100 heat index w/the humidity - and air quality can be really bad - too many people here - one year it was code black (I never even knew there was a code black!)

Spent all day yesterday touring granite yards... In the pouring rain. Needless to say , found nothing. Have a guy coming Wednesday to give us an estimate but still need to find the right sheet.
Also have someone coming to clean the air ducts Thursday.
Today hubby is repairing Sheetrock on the ceiling and running new water pipe In between the floors . This is going to be a LONG renovation doing it our selfs. I swear, it was easer to build the house. We were 25 years younger and about a thousand pounds lighter.

Wish us luck!!!
