Calling for more snow next week, rain tomorrow, warm couple days then cold - the winter that will not die (eventually we'll get the hot summer, I hope). Sorry your feeling the cold weather as well.
I feel somewhat ashamed for calling Houston's current weather "cold". This month it's been getting down to mid 40s at night and up to mid 60s during the day. In my youth I was able to go through the winters in Colorado with only a sweater and not feel the cold at all. Now I'm wearing flannel jammies and am still cold.
Edited to add that low temps in Houston this week will be in the 60s and highs will be in the 70s. I really feel for Flamingo in VA and Bob in MA and anyone else in areas where it's really cold.
Ok, that's it guys!!! I'm starting the engine to the motor home and coming to get everyone that lives in cold weather. I'm not even going to mention what the weathers like here, but trust me, I don't think you'll hate it!
Drat. I got a nice freebie on Saturday and told myself I'd have to be sure and post about it in this thread. Now I cant remember what it was. But it was a nice one.
Oh my goodness, I am so surprised! UPS just dropped off another TaylorMade Golf Club. This time, it's a 6 iron. (Last time, a 7 iron.)
I didn't even have to pay postage, imagine that. TaylorMade Golf has just made a new loyal customer!
Btw, anytime my friends from the cold climates want to come and visit, know you are more than welcome. We are just reaching our spring weather now.
Oh, I also received my free Family Circle magazine. :-)
