I'm rereading one of my favorites. "The Charm School" by Nelson DeMille. I love his books and this one is #1, IMHO.


Ironically all this "stuff" is going on about Russia in the news. So, I downloaded "War and Peace", gulp. I am going to read it. Never have. But, just in case, I ordered the DVD, too. heeheehee.


That reminds me of "Dr. Zhivago." I did read that one and now I will once again have to keep a list of all the characters and their nicknames so I will remember who they are. I think "War and Peace" is going to be the more difficult read. Yikes, over 1200 pages. Back to DeMille, first.

I downloaded War and Peace when it was offered as a Kindle freebie but haven't read it yet. I think the longest book I've ever read was The Agony and the Ecstasy. It was a surprisingly quick read, although it was more than 700 pages.

If you go missing for several weeks we'll assume you're safe and simply hunkered down with Boris as you navigate your way through War and Peace.
