"Murderous Muffins" yummy.
Thank you, MP1.
My favorite Steinbeck book is "East of Eden." I have both versions of the movie, too.
I've read "The Grapes of Wrath" and have the movie staring Henry Fonda. Steinbeck's books always depress me but his writing is so outstanding that I had to read them all.
Did he write "Bus Stop?" I'll go check. Nope, William Inge wrote it. Didn't Inge write "Picnic?"
Yes, he did. Inge and Steinbeck both wrote in the same style, IMHO. Depressing stuff but so very good.
I can't stand to watch "Picnic." I keep seeing William Holden jumping on that freight train. Kim Novak didn't settle but Rosalind Russell's character is the one I felt the sorriest for.
Somebody gag me! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Wait, one more thing, I need to check to see who wrote "Splendor in the Grass." Inge did. Back in Kansas again. I love Kansas. We were stationed there for 5 years.
